What it is

Coiled cotton rope is stitched in a continuous spiral from the flat base up through the rim.
Slotted handles are built into the top coils with reinforced stitching so the load lifts without pulling the weave apart.
Two cord colors split the basket between a warm base and a pale upper wall.
The basket packs flat for storage and rounds back into shape when stuffed with quilts or pressed with an iron.
