The questions that arrive most often, answered at the length they deserve.

Do you make these yourselves?

Yes. The design, the weave, the sizing and the quality checks are ours. The selling, packing and delivering is done by a retail partner.

Why can I not buy directly here?

Because we do not run a checkout, and running a bad one would serve nobody. The buttons take you to the partner’s listing, where the payment and delivery machinery already works.

Are the prices on this site current?

They are the last figure we saw, and they move without telling us. The number on the partner’s page at the moment you buy is the real one, always.

How many burp cloths do I need?

It depends on how often you get to the washer more than on the baby. There is a counter for it, and a longer note behind that.

Will muslin shrink?

Ours is pre-shrunk, so the tenth wash fits the same shelf as the first. It does get considerably softer over about ten washes, which is a different thing.

Can I put a rope basket in the dryer?

We would not. Heat and tumbling together loosen the stitching that holds the coil, and once that goes the basket never stands up properly again.

Do you make anything in other colors?

Sometimes, and the colors we currently sew are all on the pieces themselves. If you want one we do not list, write to the workroom and we will tell you honestly whether it is coming.
