What we write down

This site is a catalog of things we make. It is built as flat files, and it is built that way partly because flat files cannot collect much.

What we do not do

There are no accounts, no baskets and no forms that send anything anywhere. Nothing you tick or type on the two counters leaves your browser: the arithmetic runs on your machine and is forgotten when you close the tab.

We do not set advertising cookies and we do not sell anything about you, because we have nothing to sell.

What happens when you leave

Pressing a buy button opens the retail partner’s site. From that click on, their privacy terms apply and ours stop mattering. They will know what any shop knows about a visitor.

Ordinary server logs

The host records the usual requests, addresses and timestamps that any web server records, and we use them for nothing more interesting than knowing which notes get read.

Letters

If you write to us, we keep the message so we can answer it and so we can spot a pattern in what goes wrong. We do not add you to anything.
